These rankings go to show how much preseason rankings screw everything up. UNH, Nova, and Richmond haven't beaten a quality opponent between the three of them but they still get to stay on top of Delaware and Stony Brook just because they were there when the season started.
Beat me to it.

Final sentence in the SoCon..you mean to say you do NOT want to be in the team in 4th place, right?

Yup - fixed it - thanks!

Trust me - I usually type "we" and then change it once I realize that I am not actually on the team. 03-cool

Answer: Not very rare. We have had two 11-game seasons in the 24-team playoff era so far. In 2015, Western Illinois made it in with only 6 wins. Last year, Illinois State and Samford both made it in. One or two quality wins are essential for a 6-win team to be considered.
2015 WIU & 2016 ILSU both MVFC teams that finished 6-5.
Samford last year was 7-4 with the Div II win. In an 11 game season has a 6-5 outside of the MVFC has ever gotten an at large?

So in a nutshell (outside of the MVFC):
7-4 with a Div 2 win: slim chance.
6-5: no chance.
Forgot to say great job as usual. Just trying to help out by narrowing down the # of teams still alive by eliminating the obvious that don’t have a snowballs chance in hell (NEC and Pioneer no longer alive for their conference AQ, anyone with 5 losses outside the MVFC)..

04-cheers
