‘Another Missile Test Will Mean War’ By The Chinese Against North Korea

Chong Sho-Hu, who is a professor of international relations at the Renmin University, in Beijing, said North Korea was “seeking death”.

He also confirmed the long-lasting era of Chinese friendship with North Korea has ended.

Despite historic ties between the two countries, president Xi Jinping has reportedly become “fed up” with the erratic behaviour of the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.

Speaking to the BBC, the professor warned that one more missile test would be the move “to push the country off the cliff”.

And to think, less than a month ago there were people here in this forum that swore that China would never be hostile towards NK and that the CN/NK relationship was the one they cared about the most.

Yup... Shore up our forces in SK to act as a buffer and let China take on NK... Work with the Chinese behind the scenes on reunification after the fact.

I say it's fake news. I don't/won't believe it unless it happens. China will not risk a war with NK even if they're P'sed off at them. NK can still do a lot of damage and China won't risk it's people and new found power. They would rather let the US and NK get into a war and then just watch it happen.

I think you guys are vastly oversimplifying things.

North Korean civilians will flee to South Korea by the thousands. How does South Korea respond?

What if China demands the North Korean citizens NOT be let out of the country?

This will be far from simple.

What stops a Chinese invasion from marching right into South Korea? Only us. Do we have the will to do it?

Negotiations? That doesn't mean much once the armies move.

China doesn't like NK, they like the buffer they provide. They don't want a U.S. ally, equipped by the U.S. sitting on their southern border. It makes more sense that they would take NK than let the U.S. take and reunite Korea under a democracy.

I'm sure that if we are willing to pull our troops from the DMZ that China will take care of the little brat.

Diplomacy by second graders who read tabloids and comment on them. This whole scenario is as far fetched as alien babies at Area 51. Holy Crapola.
