Congrats to MarshallHerdFanz on the only perfect score in week 7. Week 8 begins on Friday night this week so make sure to get your picks in before then.
WKU vs ODU: WKU will win this to the tune of 27-10. If the east wasn’t so weak this year, then WKU would not likely go bowling.ODU is bad, but Charlotte is much worse.
Marshall vs MTSU: Marshall will win this 24-14. Marshall is still a really unknown quantity to me. Yeah 5-1 is good, but who have they beat that is good? Watch this game for a potential upset.
UNT vs FAU: UNT will win this 45-32. The Fighting Kiffins are far improved, and they’re playing at home, but the Mean Green offense will be too much for FAU to overcome.
UAB vs Charlotte: UAB wins this in a blowout 35-17. Game won’t be nearly as close as the score indicates. Spencer will rush for over 100 yards and Erdley will throw for over 250.
Southern Miss vs LA Tech: Southern Miss will win this 24-17. This is my second choice for game of the week. Defense will be big here. USM is on a streak, LA Tech isn’t.
Rice vs UTSA: UTSA wins YUGE, 38-17. UTSA is mad that they lost their first 2 conference games and will be looking to take it out on someone. Rice is a bottom 3 team in the nation imo. UTSA will run away with this and never look back.
Dang these weeks fly by, 8th week already.

WKU @ Old Dominion - The Toppers started to show some of their 2016 form vs Charlotte and I think it continues in Norfolk the Monarchs have struggled too, WKU 42 ODU 21
Marshall @ Middle Tennessee - The Thundering Herd roll into Murfreesboro looking to pounce on a pack of wounded Blue Raiders. The home guys put up a solid effort but Marshall pulls this one out, Marshall 28 MTSU 21
Saturday, October 21st
North Texas @ Florida Atlantic - The Boca Owls are starting to spread their wings under Kiffin and the Mean Green are playing mighty Fine but the home fowls escape in the tropical rain, FAU 34 NTU 31
UAB @ Charlotte - The Blazers have returned to the world of FBS football with guns a blazing and thanks to a soft schedule have turned a few heads. With the Charmin 49er's up next it remains pretty soft, UAB 31 Charlotte 17.
Southern Miss @ La Tech - just like WKU most want to bury the Bulldogs as terrible because they ain't lighting up the scoreboard this fall but only one conference loss has to mean something. LaTech 28 USM 24
Rice @ UTSA - Rice has managed 39 points in their 5 loses. Don't look for the other birds to have much mercy. UTSA rolls against the lifeless Owls, UTSA 38 Rice 14.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Rice beats us. They always play us tough, regardless of how they're doing, and they're getting their starting QB back, who missed all their games against Houston, FIU, Pitt, and Army. Getting at least a couple other guys back as well since they had a bye.

UAB has turned heads solely because of a soft schedule? Back-to-back wins over Louisiana Tech and Middle Tennessee had nothing to do with turning heads?
According to official NCAA stats, Western Kentucky's schedule is ranked 130th, only one worse is Liberty. UAB is 112th. Obviously, that is not a tough schedule overall but its tougher than Western Kentucky, according to the numbers. Old Dominion (116), Marshall (123) and UTSA (127) are each ranked lower than UAB. Yet only the only team called out for a soft schedule is UAB? Makes sense.
WKU @ Old Dominion 5:00PM CT (CBS Sports) MY LINE: WKU 31-17 WKU should be able to get this.
Marshall @ Middle Tennessee 6:00PM CT (ESPN2) MY LINE: Marshall 31-27 For some reason I think this will be a close game.
Saturday, October 21st
North Texas @ Flordia Atlantic 4:00PM CT (ESPN3) MY LINE: UNT 31-27 For some reason I think this will be really close.... I might should give FAU the nod at home but I think I have more faith in UNT.
UAB @ Charlotte 5:30PM CT MY LINE: UAB 28-17 UAB should be able to get this one.
Southern Miss @ La Tech 6:00PM CT MY LINE: La Tech 27-24 This has the smell of a trap game. In terms of how both teams are playing and being able to say either could win, and it would be a tight game.... but somehow I'll give La Tech the home nod in a tight one.
Rice @ UTSA 6:00PM CT MY LINE: UTSA 35-17 Rice has gone back to being bad Rice.
Might have to toss back some 8balls this weekend after your team's game
