Methinks that some Shocker fans are delusional enough to think that when their team wins a game that they somehow had a hand in it and that it makes them a "winner". I, however, don't need my team to validate my life. I support UConn win or lose. I prefer that they win, but if they don't, it doesn't really take away from my sense of self.

Be sure and catch a game at Koch Arena sometime. You'll understand...

You have great fan support. Then again, so do UConn and Cincy. Don't preach to UConn fans until Wichita wins something of meaning. Anything less than a national title will prove that Wichita's standards aren't that of UConn.

It is a meaningless exhibition game. All we care about is that UConn will be in a bracket on Selection Sunday. Any positive steps along the way once conference play begins are nice, but each one in and of itself isn't make or break. Having a chance to play for banner 5 is all that matters to UConn fans.
