AUSTIN HALL - AAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Austin Hall • Sr. • DB/LB • Memphis • Collierville, Tenn.
Hall had a hand in three turnovers to lead a Memphis defense that had five takeaways in a 30-27 win against Navy. Hall had two interceptions and a fumble recovery to go with 10 tackles and a pass breakup as Memphis held Navy’s best-in-the-nation rushing offense to 100 yards below its season average. Hall leads Memphis with 44 tackles and three interceptions this season.

Well Deserved.

BTW...Hall is a sophomore. I just didn't want the rest of the conference to get their hopes up that he was senior like it says up there.

If Austin had not won this week then the award should have been abolished.

And the OP is incorrect on Austin's class. He is not a senior, but a redshirt sophomore. Just confirmed it with the GOTIGERSGO website and team roster. We have him for two more years.

Good young man. Hard worker. Solid fundamentals. Good head on his shoulders.

Comes from a good family in C'ville.

I am the OP and just copied and pasted what was on the AAC website. I guess I can email them and see if they will correct it on their site.

RE: AUSTIN HALL - AAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Austin Hall didn't just show up this season. I remember at Tulane last year, he had double digit tackles. He seems very smart, has a real knack for finding the ball & in most cases makes the tackle when its there.
