What's to understand? You hired away their coach, simple as that.

I don't know why they would have any animosity as it looks like it was the best thing that could have happened to them. Houston is crushing it for them.

Why they want to and enjoy seeing him, and us, fail so bad lol. 01-wingedeagle

JMU is the current FCS darling. App State had it for years, North Dakota was the past 5 years.

Well, they did win a national championship last year. That helps.

This - they went to NDST a few times too

Well where was ESPN Gameday in Bowling Green after we won a national championship in 2002? 03-lmfao

I just wish USM football would accomplish something that would draw any little bit of national attention to it these days. Good for JMU to get the attention they are getting. I am not jealous of them, but want my own team to do something to be noticed.

Exactly....game day I don't think even existed when we won ours...that is what was so funny about what I posted...and leave it to some whiney ass, bleed heart to reprimand me for "not being happy for them". 03-lmfao

Game Day was available for our 1996 championship, but they didn't visit MU for the game.

Seriously. I have more cause than most to dislike JMU, and will be at their game against my Tribe this weekend; but they're a fantastic team that deserves recognition. Good for them. Perhaps it's all born of envy. I find it pretty hypocritical that fans on here take offense when a fan of a P5 school say "why should we give a crap about [insert CUSA school]; even if they're playing well, it ain't the same" and then they turn around and do the same thing to other schools that they perceive as not playing the same caliber of football. Good football is good football.

They are a good school with a good fanbase, and I would welcome them as a rival in CUSA.

The only opinion of JMU i give a ratza$$ about is ODU fans': if the monarchs want them in FBS in same conference as them then cool beans, looks like we'll be playing them too.

Jmu gameday was the second highest rated cgd show of the year behind only the opening weekend FSU-Alabama game. And it dwarfed the rating for va techs gameday
