I completely blamed herman for every loss last year knowing he had one foot out the door. Ya ward played a factor but if herman had actually focused on coaching the game rather than counting money we should have easily won 10 games last year!

This isn't a video game. There is no "easily winning 10 games" Do you think Herman wasn't trying to win those games? I sure as hell do, I just happen to think Memphis, Navy, SMU, all were trying too and football is football sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't.

We beat FSU on a very unlucky day for them.

OU had a kick six against us, and a lot of breaks went our way.

Memphis 2015 was the better team for almost all of the game and should have won the game but missed an easy FG. DID HERMAN DO THAT? NO FOOTBALL DID THAT.

Well Herman coached us to a comeback win in that 2015 game with Postma. The same postma that Applewhite can’t coach to beat 1-5 Tulsa.

Also that kick six was against OU not against us but i get your point. At the same time however Herman out coached OU alot there is no way you can’t factor that in.

I don’t think Herman was giving it his full attention when he coached those games last year. It was pretty clear just by looking at the Louisville game midseason what we could do. So the fact that we lost those games just shows that we were not being properly coach anymore.

No way you could argue that smu was better than us last year. That was a prime example of herman not giving it his full attention. Even the Memphis game our stellar defense had suddenly disappeared which indicated a coaching issue.

Also FSU was not unlucky they were very much outcoached. Although luck could have played a little factor in it that was not as big as the fact that they were outcoached.

FSU was on their 3rd QB..pretty big break for us.

I think you're putting too much weight on coaching. Just my opinion. I think the team might win Thursday despite how we looked against tulsatown. But hey that's why you play the games

Actually fsu was only on their 3rd qb for one series the backup played the entire second half.

With a boot on his foot yeah sure they were totally at 100% in that bowl game buddy and herman was a mastermind that single handedly took them down.
