Agreed. They've learned from 2015 and did a great job organizing and leveraging this opportunity.

Fantastic gameday crowd, good football game against a tough defense. Lee Fitting was at the game with his family.

Crowd was quiet on offense, and loud on 3rd/4th downs. Most of the crowd stayed until the final interception for a TD that sealed it.

Nice MRD performance and good weather too. Just about a perfect day overall.

The pizza winning the race leading to 1 dollar slices was gravy to that just about perfect day overall too.

Do we know what the crowd sizes were, both for Gameday and in the stadium?

Both looked great on TV!

The number of tickets accounted for in BFS is listed at 25,993 - 2nd highest ever. Looked like we had a lot of middle- and high-school kids filling up sections 413, 414, & 415. Lots of their buses were over at Festival today. Great to see us fill up the stadium with kids and their sponsors/chaperones - hope they had a great, fun day at JMU. You never know which of those kids might be a future Duke one day.

I think I was the only person not happy about pizza winning. About 3 mins before the race I bought two slices of pizza. GRR.

Probably will only happen when we're playing Maine or Family/Homecoming weekends when Aramark can plan for it. I think they were $2-3 when he/she won the weekend we were playing Maine.

Lobster won during the Maine game and they had lobster rolls, think they were $3 or $4. Do not remember. Seemed to be very popular also!!

Was great to see Lobster finally win!!

Yesterday my younger daughter asked if Cheeseburger had ever won. I did not recall, anyone know? If not, time to start a Cheeseburger chant!!

Apparently, they always have the lobster rolls; you just have to ask for them. They are not on any menus. They are usually $6, I think. I've never had them.

There was a large school group in 401 upper level as well. They seemed to be enjoying it. The teachers/leaders were gathering unused bam bams from the other sections for them.

Suspect those school visits were set up in advance months ago. Once gameday became likely, any remaining seats vanished. Hope we had some some top recruits (athletic and academic) visiting.
