I wouldn't mind giving Brohm a shot. Sirmon definitely HAS to go. I haven't seen tackling this bad since Krags was on the sideline. BC scored more points today than they have all season. Chubb didn't even have as many rushing yards against our D. BC doesn't even have an average offense. Fundamentals are sorely lacking. There are no gimmie games on the schedule now with the Cards lacking a defense. Even a bowl game, any bowl game, isn't guaranteed.

Bobby's biggest mistake was picking up Krackhead lite, Sirmon. Why would you pick up the DC that was let go by the very school Grantham went too. Think Bobby !

He doesn't seem to have the capability to bring in top assistants.

What happened in Atlanta hurt him big time in the coaching ranks with the way he left

Maize, Bobby Petrino has lost his mojo! Its time for him to go and Louisville to hire a real P5 caliber coach. I am white and I agree with every thing you said Brother M Maize. The S.S. Bobby Petrino is sinking, due to a Captain. 07-coffee3

Under Petrino 2.0 we are a undisciplined and soft Football team...and Sirmon Defensive Gameplans are utterly ridiculous...I want Jeff Brohm and if not him would like Venables from Clemson or Frank Wilson out of UT San Antonio-(Young and Up and Coming Coach)...4th choice is Jeremy Pruitt from Alabama DC.

Louisville offense is averaging almost 100 yards more than the second best offense in the ACC, I wouldn't say that Bobby has lost his mojo. Did we already forget how he coached a Louisville QB to a Heisman trophy? The first ever in Cards history! The offense hasn't been the problem this year, it's the defense. Our players are often lost on which defense they are supposed to be playing, they've lost their tacking fundamentals & there's been numerous occasions when they don't even have 11 players on the field. Our offense was effective enough to blowout BC Saturday & had the team in every other game, including Clemson.

Dabo has Venables, Petrino has Sirmon. But yeah, Dabo is a top 5 coach in the game so there aren't to many Dabos out there. Petrino is still one of the top offensive minds in the game & if you give him a Venables type DC then, or even someone half as good, then... The question is can he get one?

As of right now there is no reason to fire Petrino but if he would to get another offer elsewhere then so be it. Then I would go after Brohm.

Suddenly this sure loss at Louisville for us looks (Cuse) like a 50/50 type of game. It looks like a battle of the Top 2 QBs in the ACC. If the weather is crappy I think that favors Louisville...we don't have much of a run game.

Yes, Dabo is an offensive genius and all he needs is a Defensive coordinator.
Does Saban run into the other team's locker? Is that a message to his team or the other team?

Has Saban ever referenced Sirmon? Did he come to Louisville last year?

I've heard rumors that Petrino went into the BC locker room & congratulated them. Kragthorp was a classy guy, guess we could get him back. Dabo is a unique coach since you won't find very many elite level coaches of who is humble & I seriously doubt that he will ever walk through the PJCS door as the Cards head coach.

Correct. Our tackling is atrocious & our secondary has more holes than Swiss cheese. If our defense can make BC offense look that explosive then Cuse will score at will.

That's racist as in 'I don't agree with you therefore you're a racist' point of view. Even from that perspective I don't see anything that disagreeable.
