RE: TXST at Louisiana: Thursday Night Football
Davis got hurt during the Texas A&M game, they tried to start Davis at ULM, ULM went 16-0
Nunez brought us back and went into overtime we lost to ULM, and then for Idaho they started Davis left him in for one or two series wasn't producing, so we put in Nunez and that was it.

Hate it for Davis but he is the better QB he is getting it done. Ark. St better watch out.

14-0 Louisiana

Is the other QB injured or did Nunez beat him out?
He did enough last two games to start, even if Davis was healthy.

Bobcats change QB . . . Jones has a pretty good drive going . .

Needs to produce points. . .

He runs well. Yet to see him throw really.

Looking to score, we instead throw the pick. . .

You're welcome Cajuns . .

Anyone got the channel of the Cubs/Nats game ?

3 run shot puts the Nats up 4-1 B 2nd . . .

. . To the game at hand, surprised we're only down 14. . .

Jones moved the O well in the 2nd qrt., but couldn't produce points . .that's been a huge problem all year . .

ESPNU just ran that story on the "New" Hawkeye Tradition . . .

At the end of the first quarter, they turn and wave to the kids (many of them with cancer) in the hospital adjacent to their field . . .

Great Great Story . . just another reason to love college football . .

Now 14-7. Texas State is playing better than ULL offensively but just now scoring some points. This game's still in doubt.

Wow. I know the Cajun fans here have talked about how the fans have abandoned ship on the football program because of Hud but that shot of the stands was telling. Not many folks attending.

Have to applaud the ULL offense for breaking so many tackles.

If they had done that against us they'd have found the end zone. God, we can't tackle.

Wait...Texas State scored?

Also, I will try and pretend I'm impressed by the Cajuns managing all of 14 points through 3 quarters in this game. Offense looked great for 8 minutes, then it went to sleep.

I'm not worried about their passing game, but any team with a slightly capable run game scares me to death

I also have far more faith in our offense scoring on their defense than I do Texas State tonight.

Texas St. is losing the game due to turnovers. If they can stop that, then I think this game will be a lot closer.

Remember the days when Broadway was running the offense and Hud was "The Man". Louisiana was headed to whatever new conference they wanted and they were building a stadium to house all their fans.......

That seems like so long ago right now....
