Some think they can talk in absolutes. When in reality nobody knows what will be difficult and what will be easy for our Tigers. It’s been going on for several months now by certain posters.

Crystal balls are working overtime.

Here’s an example of talking in absolutes or proclaiming you know for sure how things will be...... When our Tigers hit the floor we are going to struggle with....

Nobody knows. I certainly wouldn’t get on here and say... when we hit the floor we are going to dominate. Or we are going to out rebound everyone with ease. Or there will be no team we play that can guard Kareem Brewton. On and on I could go. It’s ridiculous.

Stats can be fun. Football stats are still fun. But they can also be a problem when they point at answers people don't like.

There is a reason why a 50 year old woman driving a 15 year old Chevy Malibu, who hasn't had an accident will pay a lot less for car insurance than an 18 year old driving a Porsche.

No guarantee that the woman won't have an accident or the kid will, but...

Yep. Some folks are all knowing. It’s a wonder why these high and mighty aren’t running a program and doing lots of winning. Instead we get to read about it here behind a fake name. It’s hip.

What does that say about the sad sacks with an agenda?

BTW, I'm glad to hear about it. Maybe we get a little surprise when they really start playing games vs the gloom-and-doom we've been subjected to around here the past 6 months.

Go Tigers Go!!

Shows we have more sunshine pumpers in this thread while the realist are all rolling on floor hold their sides from the laughter.

I think we will have a losing record and most of the media to date predicts a 9th place AAC finish or lower. I hope I am wrong and the media is wrong and Tubby is right. In other words, I look forward to Tubby being right.

No way for a losing record.

There are, literally, 16 games on the schedule that are gimmes.

In theory. I made a post a few weeks ago showing that Martin, Rivers and our recruits have similar rankings to Tulane's lineup and their team has much more experience. Will we be as bad as Tulane? I doubt it, but based on what we have I would never think that 16 of our games are gimmies, especially since we lost a couple last year.

Any team with most of their roster returning will probably give us a lot of trouble.

And don't forget they have no one of experience to practice against.

So when they hit the floor it's gonna be frustrating at first--gonna be defenders like most have never seen. How fast they adapt and handle the frustration is another question.

Am so glad that no one will be able to see the blackout game.

You know more about sunshine pumping than anyone here. You thought the boy wonder could do no wrong.

Give us something better next time.
