I don't want him hurt either but its a likelihood if he isn't 100% healthy and going from season ending to being back after just 5 weeks is a big difference. If I was Wilder I would redshirt him at this point and let him come back as a redshirt senior. Its not that bad.

He's played too many games hasn't he? It's some obscure percentage isn't it?

He has only played in the 1st game of the season. You can get a medical or regular redshirt if you get hurt in the 1st 25% of the season. According to the NCAA that's 3 1/2 games. Lawry hasn't been redshirted yet so he would have to take his regular redshirt.

Marshall WR Willie Johnson got a redshirt right under the limit the NCAA allows last season. Last year Johnson broke his leg in the 1st half of the 4th game against Pitt. If his injury would have happened in the 2nd half he would have lost basically a whole year of eligibility.

ODU 28
Marshall 24

You won't need a ton, I think 3 points might win it.

Neither offense is particularly crisp, right now. At least, ODU is looking like they are trying to move the ball...

Offense is terrible today, shouldn't be surprised with Legg calling the plays.

Stadium looks half empty, I'd say 20k butts in seats, but I'm sure announced attendance will be around 28k

Don't get carried away. I'm not sure about that AT ALL. This is a game of the "tallest midget" will win. ODU is worse than awful. The game is in the 4th quarter (11 min left), and ODU has 160 yds of offense. The Monarchs have no firepower, and no offense to challenge anybody.

On the other hand, I don't like Marshall's QB (Chase Litton) or your receivers (lots of drops). King & Davis are a very good RB tandem. But this is just a butt ugly game.

Marshall defense Rock Solid, special teams best in years, offense is hard to tell, lots of play makers but Legg's play calling kind of mutes what could be a high powered offense.

The freshman ODU QB is in way over his head. He is not ready for this. He's 10 of 21 for 81 yards.

I think we (The Herd) are an average team at best. Most of the Herd fans on the Herd Fans message board are very disappointed with this team.

No one with more than 2 wins so far. Little early to ordain anyone as the best in CUSA. No one has stood out yet.

Pick one...but it's better than anyone you have beaten....or lost to for that matter
