RE: Rank the AAC after Week 6
1.USF Until they lose...they will sit at the top.
2.UCF are they capable of beating the Bulls. Maybe.. the game will be in Orlando.
3.Navy I am not sure about the Middies. great win against Air Force...but that was not a reall good Air Force teams..
4.Memphis Except for the blowout loss to UCF...the Tigers are unstoppable. Their defense is worrisiome though..
5.Houston Flying under the radar... i would not be shocked if the Cougars win the west...
6.SMU Haven't beaten anyone of note... I see the Mustangs going bowling...
7.TEMPLE Owls have one of the better defense in the conference. They have inconsistence QB...depleted tailback position... should make it to a bowl... 6 or 7 wins max.
8.Tulane Green Wave could sneak up on some teams... could end up around 6 or 7 wins and in a bowl games..
9. UC rebuilding year... no defense.
10.Tulsa what is going on?
11.UConn On offense UConn looks better under Edsell part duex... defense is really, really bad though. UConn could end up 1-11.
12.ECU Mo got to go. Nice guy but how did he get a HC gig?

Hard to put Memphis 4th with a blowout loss. Does Memphis have any excuse or extenuating circumstances for getting completely rolled? No disrespect to UCF. Why is Memphis so inconsistent. I know they have the talent!

I think Memphis is UP and UCF just shut them DOWN!

Inconsistent? We beat UCLA and everybody else but UCF. We have lost one game. We got killed. UCF is that good.

But we will lose some more, unless we just outscore everybody. Our D wasn't good to start, and we have lost 9 guys.

Try inserting primarily freshmen in your secondary and front 7 to man the fort. They are going to struggle for the most part till they get enough reps to react better. Sucks we lost so many veterans on that side so early in the season.

Surely you haven’t missed all the news here on us losing a bunch of starters on defense throughout the weeks

i don't really follow Memphis that closely but I'm hearing the Memphis defense is not so good. Therefore, we may logically deduce that we may not know how good the UCF offense is.

I'm just glad we ended up playing UConn early in the year. Otherwise, we would have pitched on Ofer on the year.

No doubt if we had played UCONN in the cold when we were 0-8 we'd have been crushed by them.

Memphis was without 9 defensive starters at a point in that game and several out on offense as well. Injuries hurt but I think ultimately we still lose, just not as bad.
