A mediocre Temple club could be sitting 4-3 after this week. Good programs go bowling in down years. Temple is a good program.

Navy vs Memphis is critical. Two of the top 4 teams in the conference.

If Tulane beats FIU I will be a believer. I think Tulane might be bowl bound with a win.

Two 3-2 clubs. Only easy wins for Tulane after this is ECU and possibly Cincy. Tulane really has to win against FIU to secure bowl eligibility imo.

Tulane will win that game unless the whole team comes down with the flu on Friday. Even then I think we’d squeak it out by a couple of points.

So basically we’re looking at 4-2. I admit the schedule gets much tougher after that, but it would take a steep collapse (1-5) to miss out on a bowl game after that.

Tulane is an 11 point favorite. It's probably been since '98 that we've been a double digit road favorite (maybe once in 2002); and pounding teams in this situation is part of the development.
If we prove worthy of that impost, it will set up an interesting game against USF on the 21st in New Orleans. Hopefully, at night.
If will also be the first meeting - never played in C-USA or in AAC.

True. Going on old memories here, but I think USF played as a football member of C-USA for only two seasons (‘03 and ‘04).

South Florida was a 10 year CUSA member - 1995-05 but only played football from 03-05
