Fascinating to see that concessions at Glass Bowl are ill prepared for fans at Homecoming
Out of things in first half.
Pathetic

Game day experience inside the Glass Bowl from concessions to merchandise to the music to the crowd entertainment must be drastically improved...

Easy for me to say but I take the penalty and try to put the game away right now. But that’s probably the fan in me talking.

Isn't defensive holding an automatic 1st down?

Can we trade coaching staffs? Their D can play...fast and aggressive...bigger school would be smart to go after their HC...he's done a great job there in a short time. On the other hand, we continue to play undisciplined and under achieve.

D stepped up and made a big play when it mattered to save the day, a really ugly poorly played injury marred day.

A win. But not a confidence builder. EMU is a pretty decent team but there were way too many self inflicted wounds.

RE: EMU Game Thread
EMU is a well coached team...they play hard, are aggressive and will win a lot of games. I'm still not sure what we have. We were lucky to win this one today. We've lost a lot of key players, play really undisciplined and continue to get outcoached...not a recipe for success.

How were we out coached?

Jordan Strack reporting on twitter that Thompson has a broken leg. Dang.
Gonna hurt the Rockets for the rest of the season for sure, but I hope it doesn't impact his draft prospects too much.

How were we out coached?
Our red zone play calling is horrible...we commit way too many penalties...our defensive scheme is a wreck...we were giving them 10 yd cushions on their final drive...Seems like a lot of the same issues from a year ago. Fortunately their WR rounded off his route and allowed our DB to make a play at the end of the game. Otherwise, we may be looking at a different outcome. On the other hand...EMU was sound on defense...they made plays, were in position and challenged our WR's on just about all throws. That team is well coached. Not taking anything away from EMU (because they are much improved), but that game should not have been as close as it ended up being...we were lucky to escape with a W...did the same thing vs Tulsa...who happened to get blown out by Tulane today.
