Why did you choose Ole Miss?
Gotta be tough being a college sports fan this year when your teams are Ole Miss, Georgetown, and ECU...
It's not the best right now, that's for sure.

It won't happen but it's true. The MS schools are total deadweight.

Ole Miss just won the Sugar Bowl a few years ago and has won a national championship
Let's stop pretending they're Baylor or Northwestern. Those would be better arguments.

Ole miss may always be in the SEC. The big six may not.
Huh?
I could see uga, bama, au,lsu , Florida and Tamu getting tired of paying suckling runts like ole miss and splitting the league

There are probably 30 teams in the P5 that would qualify as "suckling runts".

What else happened over 55 years ago when multiple teams use to "claim"national titkes?
Heck, UCF and Boise State are a combined 3-0 in BCS Fiesta Bowls, which is more BCS wins the the entire state of Mississippi.
Oh, and it's pretty obvious now how Old Miss built up their "Sugar Bowl" team, hence why the NCAA bought a condo in Oxford as they will be there awhile.
Ole Miss and Miss St are an embarrassment as they will receive close to $2 Billion this decade yet have almost nothing to show for it.

Yep. In the 60s if you won your conference and a bowl game, you claimed a national championship.
The truth is any AAC team would be at least as good as Ole Miss in the SEC, and that's not because you can't really accomplish less.
All the schools in the AAC fought their way here through smaller conferences and proved their worth.

Can't accomplish less than winning a Sugar Bowl 2 years ago and playing in the Peach the season before? There are much worse football programs than Ole Miss.

Ole Miss played in the most powerful and wealthiest conference with the strongest recruiting pull for decades. They played in two big bowls and the best argument that can be mustered is, "we may not be the worst"

What do you expect them to do? Win the national championship every year? They've beaten Alabama twice in the past four years.
They've been successful in college football. I fail to see the point in all of this. It's a recycled dumb article.

You know the point, you just don't want to admit the truth. You put UM and MSU in a G5 conference, and they'd die on the vine. Without a doubt. Which says more about the inequities of CFB, than the relevance of Mississippi football. There needs to be change, at the top of NCAA FB.
I equate P5 conference membership, to being a rich kid that was spit out of the right womb, and claims some imagined form of superiority, just for being born, like the rest of us.
