Not surprising Soros is helping the NFL Union, the whole league is going left. Good to see Lazybrook is still up to his racist rants.

On another note Michael Bennett has been proven to be a racist and a liar, he deserves suspension more than Elliott.

The league is still very far right. But the league largely makes its money off of liberals in cities. Remember that most of their money comes from must take cable contracts by those in NFL cities and taxpayer giveaways to the owners.

Heck the LA Chargers are attempting to prove that they can be more valuable having no fans and no viewers with the must take cable contract and the taxpayer subsidy than being in a city where they had lots of fans.

BTW, there are plenty of liberals, myself included who would cheer, loudly if professional football just ended in this country.

Stuff like this doesn't help, it is inflammatory on purpose, and not true. Fans don't want to see this stuff in the stadium.

Exactly, white people don't want to see protests. But they're not paying attention to other protests. So it makes sense for the BLM group to protest where they can get people's attention.

Tom, people spend a lot of money on tickets and watch at home to get away from political fodder, especially on a Sunday. Lots of Black Americans are patriotic, lots are in the Military, many big city police departments have a large % of Black officers. BLM isn't protesting inside NFL stadiums, players are. When BLM people pull out their manifestos they look like idiots.

He injected race and he is making a negative comment based on race.

Classic example.

I'd like for you to extrapolate your thoughts on why opposition to protests by NFL players of killings by the police isn't motivated in part by racists simply trying to erase black voices from protesting in any effective venue.

Look, there are people who hate George Soros because he's spent a lifetime fighting fascism. But I think the real reason this is important for many in here is because of the protests by NFL players.

This really isn't about some coordination between Soros' foundation and a players union IMHO.

I agree on Soros. The ties "exposed" in this article have very little evidence of being ties at all.

But I don't think the opposition to these protests have much to do with racists. I think it has way more to do with the times we live in than anything. I think conservatives would've had a problem with it before 2016, but I doubt the backlash would've been as strong. There would've been no talk of boycotting and blah, blah, blah.

Of course, brandishing a Confederate flag is considered pro-American? But refusing to stand as a silent protest of the failure of America to protect all of its citizens equally is considered anti-American in your book, I suppose.

Do you even think that minorities that oppose Trump's racist and homophobic regime are real Americans? Was Barack Obama a real American?

No, he was Kenyan.

He lives in some sort of bizarro mindset that causes him to see homophobia and racism in everything/everyone. And it is always the extreme, want to exterminate you types of behaviors as well.

There is clearly a lot of anti-white racism and sentiment taking root on the left, even the mainstream left.

And a lot of it comes from white people.

If you cut yourself it's tends to be a symptom of a psychological issue.

If you disparage yourself because of your race, well? You tell me.

I wish it was part of the LGBT agenda to argue for an end of our subsidy of sports that frequently attacks our community and certainly doesn't include us. But it really isn't.

It amazes me that few have figured it out...that the only thing that makes Trumpers stop in their tracks is if you mess with their he-man sports.

But the people running these protests really haven't figured that out yet. They will.

I could get Mississippi bill 1523 cancelled in two days, if the community was working properly.

Step 1) Have a group of 20 people buy a ticket to the next Ole Miss or Mississippi State SEC game. One of those would be a post op Female to Male Transman who looks very male.

Step 2) Around halftime, have the Transman (in full view of discreetly rolling cell phone coverage of the line outside the ladies room) simply comply with the law by using the ladies room

Step 3) When he gets arrested or insulted or abused, call for an end to all NCAA events in Mississippi, because of the safety issue for persons complying with the law.

Mississippi would call a special session that Monday to remove the bill.
----

Trumpers don't care about their jobs or their kids. But if you mess with their football, you get action.
