Chance the Rapper.. Maybe.. Maybe fake news...

ISIS hasn't done that in the past but if they are indeed weaker and more desperate, they might claim responsibility now for acts they had nothing to do with. That would be a positive for Trump's claims that they are making inroads on getting rid of ISIS, but go ahead and keep trying to prove that Trump is wrong. It only makes my job easier when you do so.

Chance the Rapper and Lorde were the headliners of the Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas (which I think was one week earlier?). Sure that could be wrong, but it's also very, very possible that every other post in this thread is dead wrong too.

WTF does this have to do with "Trump"?

Damn, man. Isn't he in Puerto Rico? Heading to Vegas today?

Holy Schnikey, Trump did this?!?

You're certifiable.

For the love of God, sometimes you make sense and are reasonable. And then other times I can't figure you out.

I am saying that Trump from day 1 has campaigned on being tough on ISIS. He's tweeted and commented many times since becoming president that he is making real progress on wiping ISIS out. In July, his tweet was 'ISIS is on the run & will soon be wiped out of Syria & Iraq.'

If ISIS is now weaker and resorting to Baghad Bob-like dubious claims, then that's a good thing. And Trump deserves credit.

If Paddock is related to ISIS, then that's a bad thing. And we're not making nearly as much progress as reported.

You would think that most right wingers like Rush Limbaugh, and Alex Jones, and people on this forum would prefer the former over the latter. And pretty much everyone on this board for that matter.

Judging by the time he responded to your post, I'm going to go out on a limb and say JM should add an "R" after the"D" in his handle. 05-stirthepot

Good point. Regarding the multiple SSNs I did not know that. Maybe she originally overstayed a tourist visa and bought a bogus/stolen SSN to work.

Edit,

RETRACTED: PADDOCK'S GIRLFRIEND USED TWO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND WAS MARRIED TO TWO MEN AT THE SAME TIME

I do wonder what the crowds were at both concerts and if he was trying to take most people out or if the first one was like someone said a dry run.

I like how we were able to rule out foreign terrorism 36 hours yet its taken us over a year to to prove a lick of collusion between Trump and Russia. If foreign terrorism can be ruled out in just 36 hours by a competent investigation, then either there is no evidence to find proving Trump-Russia collusion or the investigation is incompetent (or maybe its both). While I doubt its anything like ISIS, I'd think its a little early to rule out terrorism.

RE: Mark my words... Las Vegas was ISIS
Given the information on this thread, I do believe there is a possibility this guy was a gun for hire.

Going on that theory, is is safe to assume that ISIS has realized that given our current gun laws, the easiest way to kill Americans is simply to convince, (whether that be through brainwash or cold cash) Americans to take advantage of our gun laws to commit mass shootings.

If so do we then take massive steps to stop something like this from happening again like we did after 9/11? Nah

I could be wrong, but I'm not.

This carries about as much weight as any ISIS or Antifa angle at the present.

But back to reality. If you look at nearly all of these types of terrorist attacks in America's not too distant past, the vast majority of the perpetrators where just your normal white male American acting alone for usually mentally deranged issues. If you're going to draw any conclusions with not much fact, that's the most logical one to draw at this point.

Possible. But way early to conclude that. Hell, in one instance I can remember the shooter had a brain tumor that likely triggered the bizarre mass killer behavior. Its pretty rare these kind of events are completely without motive.

What steps? Other than outlawing bump stocks---I dont know what you can do. The guy appeared to be a law abiding perfectly normal citizen. The scariest thing about this incident is Im afraid its shown ISIS and other terror groups how easy it really is to hit American soft targets with a well planned attack using fairly easily obtainable weapons augmented by modifications you can buy off the internet.

Well duh, of course ISIS can take advantage of our non-existent firearms protections to commit mass murder. Or any other terrorist group. Or any domestic terrorist group too.

That's the entire gun control advocates point. Our 'no rules' on Gun ownership is a security threat.

But the threat from ISIS pales in comparison to the threat by random dudes with an axe to grind and a fetish for firearms.

Well, we are not a "no rules" society when it comes to fire arms. Thats a ridiculous overstatement.

All Im saying is---if you dont care if you die---you can create a lot of mayhem and death....regardless of the gun laws. I have no idea how to address the issue of people that want to kill and do not care if they die...and, based on the growing number of successful mass murder events world wide, I dont think anyone else in the world has any great ideas in that area either.

I have zero issue with that. I also have no illusions it will stop attacks of mass murder/terrorism.

Law enforcement is baffled as is with this case. Seems he left no trace on the internet. None that they have found. Seems he did not have a Facebook account. Seems that Facebook account was created after the mass shooting to have him liked Antifa and all that. Since the feds have his computer, it seems there are no traces he looked things up on the Internet.

If indeed it turns out that this nutjob became a radicalized Muslim nutjob, watch how fast the Democrats pivot away from this story. They're all jumping up and down about gun control now.

Gun owners = one kook represents them all
Muslims = cant judge the whole religion by one guy

FWIW, JMUDunk is a leftover from our old days at the CAAZone forum boards.

Handle then was DunkandDukin, most just shortened it to Dunk, so I just went with that (basically) when we all moved overt here.

Dunk-Big JMU hoops fan back in the day, been miserable ever since.

Dunkan- Homage to my old College days dog, Duncan.

Dukin- Ima Duke so I'm aDukin.

Hence, DunkandDukin.

Plenty of folks added or changed a letter or two to that name as well. 03-lmfao
