Probably only game I pick.

UTEP gets the fired coach bounce.

UTEP gets its only win of the year over the Hilltoppers. We've had two weeks to gameplan for nobody knows. Only chance at a win for Western is to be up very big at halftime. If it's within 14 at half Miners in a laugher.

Worst coaching staff since David Elson. They could get better as the year goes on but right now I rank this staff at the bottom of the conference from what I've seen through 4 games.

Loss will be blamed on Brohm by a terse Sanford in the postgame.

No inside info just a gut feeling and homerism. It also does help that five out of the last seven programs to have mid season coaching changes resulted in an immediate win.

I had a bad 5-2 week. Never should have stuck my neck out there and picked Rice. I guess being smart doesn't equate to playing disciplined football.

Oh well, 5-2 should still keep me in the lead.
