RE: What La Tech Fans are saying
The funny thing is that their fans are complaining about the refs like we are and both claim the zebras were trying to give the game to the other team.

Yes. No doubt. The crew as a whole was absolute garbage.

You saw the game. We know the truth, and who was getting the benefit of questionable calls and non calls.

"I've honestly been worried about it since I heard they would get football back, and then knowing the band's chant... Just yep."

When both sides complain, it usually meant it was a well called a game. Either that or it means a game was played.

RE: What La Tech Fans are saying
The game definitely was not well-called. Lots of missed calls and poor ball spots.

The pass interference call on us late in the game was among the worst. Not only did their WR push off on our DB (offensive pass interference), but even if you can somehow justify the call on us, they said it happened in the endzone (which it didn't), resulting in them getting it 1st and goal from the 2 yd line. That all but guaranteed them a TD on that drive.

I think you are right on all those observations.. Add to it the point that the pass certainly appeared to be uncatchable inbounds, which should render the pass interference (if it indeed occurred) moot.

From their board: "Flagship program of Louisiana, not sure we are flagship of Lincoln Parish. Sure makes being a Tech Fan hard."

What La Tech Fans are saying
Man, I thought for sure if we won they wouldn't actually have a thread about C-UAB refs....but there it is. 3 pages

"Something has to be done about this atrocity we have endured!!!"

And it's not all of them, but the constant whining and entitlement is just a sad look for a fanbase

If there is a term which should be avoided at all costs on the C-USA board, "Flagship Program" is it. The history of it, with Houston claiming it and then proceeding to make "Cooging it" a watchword for pissing a game away with pratfalls... Don't. Just don't.
