Show me a single offensive category that we haven't improved in since the season started. (and no "wins" is not an offensive category) Nobody has said it was a fast improvement, but our offense definitely is getting better.

I think the board software just made one of the most hilarious glitches ever.

Panama definitely isn't the source of the quoted text, but the link to the original post takes you to one of his posts. So weird.

A rare sighting of a confident Georgia Southern fan! Behold as he spreads his wings and gives his primal mating call. This species not so long ago was the ruler of the swamps of South Georgia. They had a huge appetite for goat meat, and were known to be able to keep humans at bay.

Then one day winter turned into Summer, and the Water in the swamps dried up, leaving the creature chronically hungry for wins. He has weakened significantly, and is now very shy of human contact, and only eats the scraps of decaying birds who have been eaten by the much larger red wolves.

But there is hope for his once proud species. There is confidence that summer might soon be ending in the Swamps of Georgia and the rainy season can begin again, and this species can slowly regain the proud history of what it once was.

You'd be better off insulting his knowledge of recruiting to get under his skin.

Learn your audience.

Cant because I dont go off hokey BS sayings or go off anecdotal crap, I actually read and source my opinions on the subject. It is pretty easy.

Also they cant stop the run and our supposed strength on D is our DB's so if we cant win this week then we are f'ed. This is about a good a match up on paper we are going to get. Why not be positive about it? I know we still stink but they have not proven much so far either.

Watching Coastal/ULM game now.
Oh my...

ULM should be the favorite. CCU will be pickem. Dare I say ULM found a coach?

Viator can coach. He also coached at McNeese which nearly every HS coach in Louisiana has a degree from. Or at least it seems that way. So he will improve their recruiting and they will be competitive as long as he is there. Sustained success may not be a realistic goal, but they should be able to make some noise every 3rd year or so.

No, that only works on Seminole Indian. I'm just teasing him because I think he might be the only Southern fan that thinks you win.

Both teams have to score 45 points plus to win. We will see how that goes for Coastal Saturday. One has the worst run defense in the country and the other is threatening to have the worst pass defense in the country. I mean an option QB threw for 350 yards on ULM.

But the option team averaging 240 a game ran for only 112. Lol
But you’re right a Option QB threw for 350 which is bad.
Our pass defense will get better we lost some guys and it was new guys first starts of the year. We’re playing 3 DB true freshman in the game and about play another Safety true freshman . One starter is back from injury that happened in Spring he came back that fast. He’s still rusty. We lost two decent safeties for the year and another will be our for a while.

Probably..but I saw signs of life at tad bit in the IU game and not just in garbage time. We shot ourselves in the foot a lot in that game as well. The moronic chop blocking and ball security should be easy fixes.

ULM - they have some momentum and confidence
App - still too tough at home...NMSU makes them sweat it out though.
Idaho - at home and both teams have looked shaky at times...home field advantage
Coastal - could have won at ULM & Beat UMASS...Ga State lost to TN St at home.

For App, that Wake loss still stings. Had two weeks to stew in it. I'm still looking for the identity of this year's AppState squad. Yes, we lost to Wake by 6"... But we had so many chances to go up two scores in that game and couldn't do it. Offensive execution is still a major concern for me. Clearly, the game 4 change for us was to adopt the strategy of letting the pass set up the run. While this strategy did improve the running game, App is not at the level of execution we have been accustomed to. Yes, injuries have been a factor this year.

NMSU and Idaho are on a mission to rampage this year, and the coaches are using that energy to focus thier teams, as they should. Both have my attention for sure. None more so than NMSU. My conference predictions:

ULM
App
Idaho
GSU

I agree...my prediction of NMSU keeping it close is more a reflection of their apparent improvement rather than a knock at App St. NMSU has a solid QB and excellent RB who will keep them in the game.

APP's defense is really that good. I think it comes down to how much NMSU has improved on defense. Even with a good QB and the sunbelt's best running back, I can't see them scoring many points in this game.
