There are a few bars/restaurants right on campus (I recommend Mojo Bones and Hair of the Dog), Colley/21st is pretty close and has a good selection of restaurants and bars. Nightlife go to Waterside or Granby downtown (about a 5-10 min drive from ODU).
Tailgating, if you walk around the lots, folks will welcome you. If you want a definitive tailgating spot to hang, PM me and I can give you our location. Youre more than welcome to join us.

That does not sound like good news. My guess it is means that our receivers are not good enough to make the spread work. Or that Williams isn't, but I don't think that's the case.
I haven't heard Bobby say it, but the whole "spread offense" talk is really meaningless so I'm not sure what he's referring too. We run the spread and have always run the spread. Whether you run or pass out of the spread is meaningless in terms of what you call the offensive system. We are going to run 3 or 4 WRs and 0 or 1 TEs.
After BW promoted SW he said that we're going back to the spread offense type that TH ran, more passing than running.

Actually, if they win any of the next 3, they have a great shot at getting to a bowl game. We could have a nice 3 game winning streak with Charlotte, FIU, and Rice. That leaves 1 win between FAU, Marshall, WKY, North Texas, and MTSU.

Marshall, WKU, NT, MTSU will all be favorites against us. Hence why FAU is a must win.

I agree that its very important to get this win Saturday for our bowl chances. But a loss doesn't mean it will require a miracle to go bowling. I think we can compete with NT and MTSU (if they don't get their QB back), and maybe WKU since its at home. Marshall may very well kick our butts. The other thing is FIU is not a gimmee either.

they'll likely have Stockstill back by the time we play them is my understanding
Yeah, but will they want to burn his medical redshirt for 1 or 2 games? Maybe so if they are sitting at 5 wins and looking for a bowl, but otherwise I would save him for next season.

I don't think they get to choose. If he's able to come back it's not season-ending. I don't think they would choose to keep him out anyway unless it's literally for one game.

You are the one taking things too far. Nice job adding to the discussion. You don't add any value.

Have we run more than a couple plays for Melvin in any games. I keep hearing we added a TE and a playbook. Still waiting for that to become the weapon fans have hoped it would be. Melvin is a stud player, he needs more touches.

I will not stand idly by while you disparage our beloved Grommet. He absolutely does add value. Also, he reminds me of the classic "Wallace and Gromit"
