UTSA is #225. It looks like our RPI will fall at least 10 more places next week even is we win both games. Nothing we can do about that, we just have to keep winning.

Baylor had a loss and tie, Memphis had two L's...both dropped in RPI, that probably hurt Rice a little also.

RE: Women soccer
It be great if we could schedule a top 25 team in October in addition to the Conference USA schedule but I guess would be difficult to do.

Kinda wish those 2 games didn't get cancelled. Potentially two wins..although not the best RPI.

Rice and UTEP were 0-0 at halftime. Rice with goals at '54 and '55 to take a 2-0 lead.

Maybe they can figure out a way to schedule a team with a good RPI before the season is over? Other teams had cancellations besides Rice.

Good win. The Lady Owls have their mojo. The last three games will be difficult and they are all away.

The fact that 3/4 of remaining games are road games is good for our RPI assuming there’s an adjustment as there is in other sports.

No straight-up road win bonus. If North Texas can climb up to an RPI ranking of 80 or better, we might get a small road win bonus.

More importantly, the last three teams we play all have solidly winning records. That will do more for our RPI than anything else.

I'd have to think yes. Houston Owl would probably know better than I would though.
