This one's probably over . . coming into this game, our offense was averaging 12.5 points a game.

Down 21, we haven't shown the ability (this year) to score enough points to overcome that . .

and even if we could overcome the current deficit, I doubt we can keep Wyoming off the board for 2 quarters . .

This will be 14 straight losses to FBS schools by about an average margin of 28 points per game. I thought the hiring of Withers was a good move, but it is clearly not working out. There is nothing to hold onto. The defense and the offense are both horrible. We are just not competitive with the other FBS schools.

I have nothing nice to say so I won't say anything at all.

Didn't notice any injuries. And WJIII had a couple nice plays in garbage time.

I know the year's not over (lol), but you can't even point to anything that looks like progress from year one to year two . . . It's just pathetic . .

Your dline when fresh is pretty good. Offense has to get better to keep them rested. Still a year away due to depth all around though.

I don't understand why TXST isn't better. You guys should be able to recruit better than you do. Your campus and stadium are big pluses. And your location halfway between Austin/San Antonio is something you can sell.

#1 recruiting class in the Sun Belt in 2017 despite finishing in dead last in the Sun Belt in 2016.

We're making progress. Withers blew the entire thing up when he got here. In hindsight, maybe not the best decision. But if there are dividends paid off from it, it won't be until 2018 at the earliest. We are one of the youngest teams in the country this year, if not the youngest. And still playing at a double-digit scholarship disadvantage from all the players he ran off.

Withers is building to win...just going to take a little longer than some of our stupid fanbase is willing to give him. There's a big difference in the type of recruit that Withers is bringing in vs Fran. I'm not talking about 247 or Rivals ratings either. Fran signed so many guys that didn't pass the eyeball test. There's no way in hell anyone who saw these kids would ever predict they'd turn into an FBS football player. We still have a few of them left on the roster.

Our success in the next few years is more important to Withers than any fan/alumni/AD/etc. He's knows that if he fails here, he'll probably be a coordinator the rest of his career. If he wins here, he can move on to bigger and better.

Fran never had that kind of pressure. He just did enough work to exist here. His whole goal was to do the last amount of work possible to not end up on another screenshot like this:
