The grey uniforms looks good on no one. Uniform execs are scum.

I think it looks fine on Wazzu. Grey is a color for them. It's either eye-gouging or brilliant.

BTW, I would like to see a Wazzu or another "downtrodden" P5 program make a serious playoff run. A few new faces are BADLY needed in CFB.

Meh, when Nike redid Wazzu in 2011, they gave them those gray/anthracite pants across all sports.

Virginia Tech wore Geogia Tech away uniforms one year when they played at GT because someone stole VTs.

Happy for Mike Leach. He has done a remarkable job at WSU.

Agreed. I've been a Leach fan for a while, especially after reading "Swing your Sword"

It looks kinda weird whenever a team randomly gets grey unis, it's just not a normal color. At least EMU has the grey turf so it kinda 'fits in.'

It worked! Awesome game and win. IMHO, Nike made a mess out of football unis. Some of them are ridiculous.

It was just the qb's jersey. They were trying to get a donor to fly one down from bburg.

We even took a sharpie and tape to it. They crossed out the R and put a swoosh.

I was at that game in Atlanta.

Edit: Seems there were 4. The most visible were the qb's Glennon and Taylor.

I recall that game. I believe it was just Tyrod Taylor and 4 other key players. I remember it being a Thursday night game and they placed out the Russell logos with sharpie marker.

Personally I wish there were limits on wearing alternates. I think it should be limited to one game a year and then the option to wear them again in their bowl game. I'd like to be able to know who's playing by looking at the uniforms.

I'd also like to know who shells out for all of these extra uniforms? Are they gifted by the uniform providers, who then make their money on selling replicas to fans, or are the universities on the hook for them? I can't see where some of the little guys who have several options have much of a retail market.
