If you have ACC aspirations, now is the time to start buying the other school Presidents case's of scotch and cigars. *looking at you UCONN*

While we would take the upgrade in money and prestige, the ACC is starting to smell a bit rancid in the cheating department. Miami, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Louisville have all been tagged with NCAA violations in the last few years. Which one of their schools is next?

UConn fans would ideally prefer that we hold off for the Big Ten and associate with schools that cheat less and that have better academics than some of the lower tier ACC schools. If that isn't an option ever, maybe UConn could link up with the Big 12 in the next round of realignment. If neither scenario ever comes to fruition (which is likely), we will be fine in the AAC. The AAC keeps getting better and better in basketball and football and is finally showing some stability. While we would all take a conference upgrade if offered, this is a pretty strong league.

While we are all still piling it on the Cards, I felt the need to resurrect this screen gem:

RE: Dear Loserville...
Coach 2 has always been a classy guy.
Retired ECU assistant coach Rick Smith was on Pirate Radio this afternoon. He started at Kentucky in 1990, Coach 2's second year as their basketball coach. He said the football coaches would walk out across the parking lot, "and all the football guys were wearing boots, flannel shirts and driving pickup trucks. The basketball players were wearing fur coats, gold chains and driving BMWs." Only the best.
