Thanks! Long time listener first time caller.

I read almost every post on here and on JMUsportsblog but only work up the courage to post when I come up with genius nuggets like "let's hire a potential felon from a top D1 program..."

I'll be back in a few months with my next genius post since this one appears to have gone nowhere. haha.

BTW, I think I should get some credit fro reading every post...water engineer...that's insulting. I should at least be a athletic ankle taper at this point.

How about “sideline reporter who reads from index cards?”

I can work with that. Can I write my own cards and then appear completely confused by what I am reading when we go live on air?

Totally. It seems you’ve played “knifey spooney“ before.

It's not like we haven't been near this road before. Or do we not talk about the Lefty/Len Bias situation that put MBB on the map at JMU?

Don't get me wrong I'd much prefer if we ever need a new MBB coach we clone Houston but if that science is not ready I'm not opposed to one of these embarrassed top tier guys re-establishing themselves and helping to fill a new arena. Although, I would ignore any "corporate sponsorship" ideas they come up with.

If only we can get Steve Kerr, Pop, or Coach K wrapped up in this somehow and out here.
Wrong! Lou Campanelli put JMU BB on the map. Lefty should have taken us further, but he didn't.

+1
Not trying to trash Lefty who I personally like, but Lou was the real deal. And I like the new Lou's arc so far!

I think we are due for our third wave of bball madness, Lou's recruiting is on fire

I can't tell you how much I was pumped when this SI article came out my freshman year but unfortunately you can't replace Linton Townes with Keith Bradley or Woody Boller so that season was a mild disappointment.

This is a true statement, yet Lou still managed to make it back to the NCAA's and advance into the second round without the great Linton Townes. Who, by the way, I am connected with on LinkedIn.

I think this is the first time LinkedIn has been mentioned in a brag haha.
