AAC Best Case Scenario for 11/24 Broadcasts?
What do you guys think the best case scenario would be for the AAC (for ratings and exposure) with the USF @ UCF game time and Navy at Houston on 11/24 Black Friday?

Right now ABC and ESPN are wide open.

This is the schedule as of now:

Miami at Pitt TBA (ESPN Network)
VA Tech at Virginia TBA (ESPN Network)
USF at UCF TBA (ABC or ESPN Network)
Navy at UH TBA (ABC or ESPN Network)

New Mexico at SDSU 3:30pm EST (CBSSN)
NIU at Central Michigan TBA (ESPNU or CBSSN)
Ohio at Buffalo TBA (ESPNU or CBSSN)
Western Michigan at Toledo TBA (ESPNU or CBSSN)

Also just to give you a point of reference as to what ABC /ESPN did with the AAC last year.

They had #20 UH at Memphis at noon on ABC. #16 Nebraska at Iowa at 3:30 on ABC. Then stuck Cincinnati at Tulsa at 8:30 on ESPNU.

I would sure hope we can avoid that noon game but ABC is ABC. You don't have that option very often.

ABC equals national coverage - take it when you can get it no matter what time the conference game gets. Just getting Cinn and Tulsa on TV with their records this year would be a win - win. Take the wins no matter how ugly when ever you can get them. 04-jawdrop 02-13-banana 04-rock 04-bow 03-idea 03-shhhh 07-coffee3 04-cheers

Ultimate best hope for AAC games on Black Friday:
UCF/USF enter their game undefeated
then,
A one loss Navy plays a 2 loss Houston
w/ each school suffering a loss from UCF or USF
earlier in the season.

Just stinks that our ranked teams can only lose once and they are out of the ranking conversation. So ridiculous when you have scrubs like UF in the polls are barely beating deadbeats like Tenn.

No, the best scenario is a one loss ucf ranked, playing a undefeated highly ranked usf.

An undefeated highly ranked navy vs a two loss number 25 houston.

Then an undefeated navy vs an undefeated usf, both highly ranked playing for the ny6 bowl and ccg.

As people climb the rankings the next few weeks that wont be an issue.

I suspect the best AAC game will end up with the ABC Noon slot regardless as to what happens. My question is if both AAC teams are ranked, do you think their is a chance they would end up with the 3:30 ABC slot?

If all four stay on track and there are only 3-5 losses between the four, the best case is an AAC doubleheader on ABC.

We've delivered commensurate numbers on Black Friday with our bigger draw teams
