The protest is no longer about that and it was a false narrative. Hence why when it was about that there were 10 players kneeling. It's about the mad tweeter now.

Kneeling...
Both sides of this argument are freaking dumb.

Kneeling is a physical act. There is no symbolism in kneeling.

Now if someone defines why they knelt (see:Colin, Catholics, Etc) then they has put meaning behind a physical act.

Does that suddenly mean that every time someone kneels it is because someone is protesting ... no.

It's silly and asinine.

RE: Kneeling...
Raising your arms in the air is a physical act. If you are a referee in a football game, it symbolizes that one of the teams scored a touchdown.

If you are an NFL football player on the field before the game and you kneel during the national anthem, it sure symbolizes something.

Yep, it's to the point, like most politics, where people have stopped listening and are just yelling at each other on both sides. That will change nothing.

I've already answered two of your questions now answer mine. Is kneeling generally considered a sign of respect or disrespect?

when required to stand up, kneeling is a sign of disrespect.

NFL football players or anyone else for that matter have never been required to stand for the National Anthem.

So then kneeling isn't a sign of disrespect.

Thanks for clearing that up for us. 07-coffee3
