Cool story, sport. When will you tell the real story?

You just said it was.

Where did I say it was your problem?

The moment you railed against a player for not being inked to an NFL contract just because you felt his talent level made him deserving of one.

Please calm down and read what I posted. Some players have enough talent to play in the NFL but because of other reasons, i. e. ( Ray Rice) no longer play in the NFL.

I'm not railing for them to be reinstated. I'm simply saying that just because you aren't in the NFL doesn't mean it's because you lack talent.

I'm interpreting your message the way I want to interpret it. I won't stand for your oppression. Freedom of speech

I'm glad you realized I was just fooling around. But I still disagree with your view on the messaging. Regardless of what the co-kneeler said regarding his reasons for turning his back on the national anthem, people are going to see that as an offense against the country. I do. Because the reality of the situation is that the protests are 1) misplaced and should be against the big cities, 2) offensive for different reasons that should be obvious to most and 3) meaningless gestures because they are making zero sacrifices to do this. Before you go there, Colin didn't make a sacrifice. He did something that was going to be "good for Colin" (at least he thought so) because he knew his days at SanFran were about to be over anyways. He miscalculated. The dude doesn't even vote in elections, so we know where he really stands on social issues.

Consider Oct and breast cancer awareness month for the NFL. Who gives a sh!t if the guys wear pink to honor the month. NOW, show me guys who are out there raising money for breast cancer screening machines, holding fundraisers for cancer drugs, etc - then they are working for real change.

I don't disagree with what you said because much of it is your opinion.

You have a right to be offended.

What I took issue with was the President suggesting they should be fired for what they are doing.

An amazing talent? LOL. If he was all that he'd have a starting spot somewhere by now.

And which shoes of his should we try on? I'm betting he has numerous pairs that cost as much as my monthly mortgage, or at least as much as my truck note. Cry me a river. 03-hissyfit

OMG can't you people freaking read? Please see my earlier posts in this thread.

Perhaps your message is being lost in translation?

Everybody else is making a big deal of this. Colin decided to kneel without bringing attention to it. The media pushed this to get people riled up. Colin was minding his business.

AHA! So you're the bastige that's been helping UTEP's head coach in acquiring our "talent". You know, that great talent that can't even tackle for instance. You need a new job, maybe one as a "teacher".

The cat's out of the bag.

As a matter of fact, I was at a Burges scrimmage game when Kugler showed up to see Aaron Jones for the first time and we actually got a chance to talk to him about Aaron. At the time, Aaron had no offers from D 1 colleges.

You know the Aaron Jones that scored a TD for the Packers last night?
