Besides shouldn't you be popping champagne bottles right now? Your precious Obamacare lives to see another year.

Problem is, even Republicans see that some parts of the act is working. They want to saved what is working, but some of these Republicans bills are taking away many things that was working. That is why Patty Murray and Lamar Alexander were working together to fixed the issues with the health care. Sanders was correct that all the bills that have been brought up by both parties did not have what was really needed. Lower the cost of medicine and other health care costs. You do have a monopoly by the Pharma where there is only one drug on the market with no competition, and no Generic brands for those. There are Generic drugs for those monopoly drugs that could help the lower end for people who can't afford the medicines.

"We have one senator who’s a ‘yes’ vote ... but he’s in the hospital. And he’s a ‘yes’ vote. So we can’t do it by Friday. So we have the votes" to pass a health care bill.

(Trump on Fox & Friends yesterday)

With one Yes vote in hospital & very positive signs from Alaska and two others (McCain is out), we have the HCare Vote, but not for Friday!

(Trump tweet yesterday)

I guess he's saying Paul will vote yes now? McCain and Collins are No.

In any case, like always, Trump is delusional. And by the way, the 'hospitalized' senator (at least he didn't say he's dying) is Thad Cochran of Mississippi. Cochran had to correct the news later himself with his own tweet.

"Thanks for the well-wishes. I'm not hospitalized, but am recuperating at home in Mississippi and look forward to returning to work soon," he said.

Don't bring facts in here. The brainwashed trumpbot's know that guy really is in the hospital and win #1 is right around the corner.

Either Trump needs some serious psychological help with his daily lying or he's just not operating with all his faculties. Senile isn't a good look.

RE: Graham-Cassidy
There's no way to "fix" the ACA as it is written. Follow it out to it's end and it can only function as a failed system designed to get so many people on board that single payer is the only option without snatching insurance from tens of millions.

You asked in the other thread about "paying for" tax cuts. How do you think we as a country are going to pay for Obamacare when the subsidies run out? Insurance companies will have no choice to raise rates to astronomical figures or pull out. Eventually the masses facing no insurance options or four-figure rates and five-figure deductibles will scream out for single payer and 4 month wait lists to see a doctor and receive sub standard care until the government says that treatment is no longer financially viable.

IMO the very best way to "fix" the ACA is to abolish the system and start over. The world won't end if we go back to the way things were done 7 years ago..
