Which podcast was it?

One shining podcast. Requoting a theory from Gary Parrish (starts at 26:17)

https://www.theringer.com/2018/2/27/1705...bi-wiretap

LOOOOVE that podcast...been a Titus fan ever since I was a walk-on myself. That theory kind of gets run out too when you consider that Sean Miller isn't represented by ASM...so...he's got a rival agency trying to bribe him to push players to an agency that he isn't represented by...

Have you contributed to the Dirty Laundry segment?...Like i said, pure conjecture and hearsay...

Not yet...but I may have some material 03-lmfao

Is Titus the one who said Capel is a dirty recruiter and brought brown bag recruiting to Duke?

CBS in their discussion after the press conference right now is highlighting the statement by Miller that the one time he was offered to participate in paying a player, he declined to participate and that player is not at Arizona. They are guessing this may mean Miller was alerted by the FBI that he was caught on wire tap discussing paying a player (i.e., the "one time") and he knows this will eventually come to light. But he will say he was approached about it, but nothing came of it because he declined to participate.

This might jive with the speculation upthread that Miller was actually discussing a different player than Ayton. And perhaps that he was not affirmatively agreeing to participate in the payment - just discussing it. And if this is the case, it may be bad for ESPN.

Will be interesting to see when the lawsuit against ESPN is filed.

Now this is a bet by Miller (and apparently the board who will support him) that there is no other incriminating evidence showing all the other times he participated along with Book Richardson to pay players.

I wonder if it's kind of like the congressman in ABSCAM who, when asked if he would accept a bribe, said, "not at this point"?

Funny how Bilas is coming out so hard against the NCAA these days once Duke started showing up on he radar of the NCAA/FBI.

And Miller would be smart not to sue anyone, but instead just try to lie as low as he can.

Should we post Penny Hardaway's staff on this thread in advance so it'll be easy to revisit in three or four years?

To summarize, Jacob Evans was not paid anything and Cincinnati is not suspected of any wrongdoing.

An aspiring agent named Christian Dawkins had a business plan that he sent out to his partners. His plan was to pay $ to high profile HS recruits and current college players. Jacob Evans is only mentioned as one of Dawkins' prospective targets he listed in his business plan.

Directly from the article:
Quote:There is no evidence that any of the payments were actually made before his arrest or that any of the players had knowledge of the pay-for-play schemes.

Enquirer folks will be thrilled since they had previously published reports about the scandal that mentioned a former X assistant.
