Was Troy starting a 17 y/o QB for the first time ever?
Not the LSU of yesteryear by a looooong stretch. Let me know when Troy beats Alabama or Clemson.

How many times are we gonna keep hearing it from the ranks of the disgruntled-Troy and Liberty have beaten Power 5 schools, so why haven't we, blah, blah, blah.....

The University was in fear of losing their accreditation due to the cheating scandal. ...... but it was also kinda a joke.

Your 'good humor' makes me wonder how you speak about our own student-athletes.

Yeah......not really. If you had taken the time to read the Wainstein report on UNC's 'cheating scandal', you would have realized only the WBB team was using the class inappropriately. asking for certain grades for certain players to keep them eligible. You would have also learned that the class was an independent study and that the professor of this class is the one who asked his secretary to grade the final papers. Since WBB is not a high profile money sport, the NCAA isn't really interested. Other athletes used it as a fluff class for their GPA. Who hasn't taken a fluff class or two in their college career? Also, the class was available to all students, not just athletes. It's the same thing when a fraternity/sorority gets a hold of a fluff class and everyone signs up for it. The majority of student-athletes at universities work very hard on and off the field. Due to my major at VT, I worked with a number of football and basketball players in my classes. They all did their own work, attended our study groups, and contributed to our classes. I know that some of you would just like to think that all athletes fit the dumb jock mold, but the majority of them do not.

Are you serious? We could have started a senior or a juco transfer but we chose to go the freshman route.

This is pure comedy. The whole thing was blown open by a Men's Basketball player and it is widely know that players from football and basketball were funneled into the corrupt AFAM program.

It isn't like UNC, ECU, and NC State are world beaters. Beating LSU would be huge for our program, to say otherwise is silly.

When we schedule the games 5 years in advance.

Or we could pay Baylor a few million to schedule us while they still suck.

Almost had the algorithm down with UNC. Missed it by a week or two.
