A really nice surprise. I think a lot of folks thought Johnston would move to the top before the first kick off but Erdely is gonna be tough to unseat. He's big, got a nice arm, and is deceptively fast. He's still a pretty inexperienced sophomore so he's too hesitant and holds the ball too long. Dude's got talent though and showing the kind of grit and leadership a very inexperienced team needs.

Game ball to AJ imo.

Absolutely! We don't make that comeback without AJ's play in the second half.

I know one blazer who probably still won't give Erdely credit. 05-stirthepot

Glad they came back in the 2nd half but where were these players in the 1st along w/ the play calling? Special teams again hurt us in the end. If not for the big return, I think we could have beat them in OT though I wish we had gone for 2 on that last td to win it or lose it there.

RE: UAB vs UNT
This was a special game played by a special TEAM that seems to have come together early in this season. It would have been wonderful to win the game, but we could also have lost it like Vandy did today. Our team would not let that happen today. We have an open week at a good time for this team. We can get some rest, heal some wounds and gird our loins for the home stretch ahead. Who knows? Florida's last minute heroics may not be enough to save them by the time UAB comes to Gainesville.

FWIW, Rice, Charlotte, and UTEP will probably only combine to win 3 or less games all year. Really need to beat those 3 and steal a game (looking at you MTSU at home). Badly wish we had stolen this one
