Exclamation Miami (FL) football team has been acting pretty similar to Georgetown
I'm talking about the Georgetown's basketball team to me. The 'Canes act like an old, past power, not the brash, young 'Canes I used to hear about. Why????

Mark Richt seems to be building Miami into the team it used to be. The Hurricanes look like they are on an upswing.

Hurricanes' biggest problems were (1) bad coach hires, and (2) outdated facilities.
Things are looking up on both counts... I'd reserve judgment for a little longer.

Yeah, the Canes of the past couple of coaches would have folded today if they were in a close game late against a team they were supposed to beat comfortably. But this team stepped up and put the game away. They don't have the talent level to win every week, but being well coached and taking care of business in games like this one is a big step forward for them.

Miami doesn't have facilities. They play 45 minutes away in the Dolphins stadium. They just started playing basketball in the 90's....

Actually, that's not true. Miami does have practice fields for football and Coach Richt has been promised an IPF as well.
