Worked out well that time!

Do what you've been doing, defense. Put this game away!

If the offense would've done it's job, this game wouldn't have needed to go to OT in the first place.

Too Many runs up the gut all game. At what point do you change and stop running draws. The defense deserved so much better. Creighton, Roback and the offensive coordinator blew this game.

Bad loss. Had numerous opportunities to win the game in regulation. Not kicking the field goal in the 1st half, botching the snap in the 2nd, and countless backbreaking penalties. Last year's team wins that game. We gotta find that discipline again somehow, or we won't be bowling.

In terms of repetition yes. Karcher would QB draw 3 plays in a row. It was so maddening. So far, we have the same issues over and over again: not doing enough on 1st and 2nd down, and ending up in 3rd and long. We are terrible on 3rd downs this year, and a good chunk of it is on our senior QB, while the rest is on playcalling.
It's a shame, because our defense played great again, until they wore down in OT. Could be a long and frustrating year if we have to watch slugfests like this every week.

RE: Game Day: Ohio
Roback single handedly lost that game with 1 bonehead play.
With this offense, as it is, we won't make a bowl game, even with a really good defense. Can't run the ball, as expected. Vanilla play calling.
Might as well just spread it out and wing it. Roback hasn't learned a thing and won't change. The OLine can't run block, but they pass block decent, so Creighton has no choice but to put all his eggs in the Roback basket and build a game plan around what he does best.
Great job defense. Everybody else, including the staff (Neathery and crew excluded) did an overall poor job.

Sucks we don't have a QB with a high football IQ. Unheard of, really for a senior...also, damn we miss Kilby.

Winnable game squandered by bad/unbalanced offensive play calling and poor mental discipline on penalties. Defense played well and kept us in the game. Ironically the offensive line, what we thought would be our weakness, was on point. The only sack i remember was a late blitz from the LB...not due to the OL. With that protection, Keen should have been more creative and found ways to have success.
Should have mixed up the run game with...sweeps, screens, pitches, etc. as well to get some balance and not be so predictable on 2nd and 3rd down.

What are you talking about, our OLine was on point?
An OLine is first and foremost about the run game. In that regard they are terrible. They are pretty good so far as pass blockers, so Keen is gonna have to build an offense around those 2 obvious facts.

Agreed with all the critiques mentioned so far. Keen needs to have a come to Jesus moment and re-think his schemes.
