Not a Brewers fan, but the mascot sliding down into the swimming pool sized beer mug was always one of the cooler home run celebrations. Do they still do that?

Well these are the people that ESPN chose to keep on the payroll. So how big of idiots were the ones they let go?
Why is it not surprising that somehow, in your recesses, you are clinging to those types of thoughts.
Curious, do you have just as much animice for a former reality show star referring to a peaceful protester as a son of a *****? Is that maybe a tad more idiotic? We can pick our causes, but the ines we pick are edifying.
If you turn nothing into a another tired shot at ESPN, and we know what that means, while thinking the reality show star addressing a crowd in ALABAMA bashing a peaceful black protester of the star spangled banner as son of a ***** disrespectful to our flag, while many in that crowd enjoy waving a rebel flag but are embraced as the right kind of people...you made your case.
I am sure the defenders and apologists will now come seeping out, but dude, done here.

Yea. The female announcer walked into the stadium the first day and saw the slide and started(they admitted this on the air) getting giddy as a little school girl and had to try the slide herself.
Finally someone advised them that the old mascot was a beer barrel. Even after being told they still had a time trying to figure out why his nose was shaped like it was until he turned around and they finally figured out his head was a beer tap.
While not seen by public due to being hidden under the bleachers. The Cubs have a new celebration for HRs. The bullpen has a dance off after each HR.

Maybe it is because my age group was more informed while growing up due to not having all these gadget to divert our attention. But if you mentioned Milwaukee to anyone in my age group you automatically thought beer. While they are not a big seller these days but Schlitz was a major brand and it's catch phrase was "The beer that made Milwaukee famous"
Today you have Milwaukee's Best and Old Milwaukee. So it is hard to comprehend how the announcers could not associate beer with a team named the BREWERS.
