This game should absolutely be a blowout, but it isn't. Yet it still might be if GT can, you know, hold on to the ball for a series.

See Pitt you messed up there ... you didn't have anybody in front of him to force another fumble inside the 5. Bad move there Pitt.

Wouldn't have mattered, Pitt made the usually porous GT defense look good!

I do like those Arkansas unis even if they are a bit too Buckeye-ish.

Wake survives 20-19 in Boone by blocking an App St FG with 10 seconds left. Funny watching the App St student section go wild when Wake had a dead ball unsportsmanlike penalty called for celebrating. They were sure App was going to get another FG try. Sorry folks, that's not how it works!

I go to take a shower with Miami up comfortably 38-16. I come back and the score is 38-30. But Miami just score another TD. Whew!

4-0, 2-0

Never in my life have I been more pissed over a 27 point win. We play like this next week we will get our asses beat by a lesser team.

On to VT

Not sure what "lesser team" you are thinking of, but let me remind you that Clemson plays the Virginia Tech Hokies next week!

Last year, neutral field: Clemson 42, Va Tech 35
This year it will be in Blacksburg.
Game on!

Syracuse just scored another TD.

Syracuse 26, LSU 28

5:39 to play, but SU just failed an onside kick.

RE: Open Thread - 2017 Football Season - Week 4
I'm still dumbfounded that Dino Babers had Syracuse kick an extra point instead of go for 2 after their touchdown late in the 3rd quarter.

If they went for 2 and were successful they would've been down 28-20. Kicking the XP made it a 9-point deficit and a two score game still. Then Syracuse scored with 5:40 left in the game and couldn't tie it because of that awful decision.

Frustrating game for the wide receivers too who dropped several passes including 2 TDs (the first one would've been a tough catch though but the second one was a wide open drop). They did a pretty good job other than that though.

SU performed much better than I thought they would. LSU must be pretty bad. After the last TD, I dont know why Babers went for the onside kick with more than six minutes to go. Our kicker had been pinning LSU inside the 10 all night. Seems to me he should have tried to pin them again.
