That's what we've had for years: until football, I guess. Went to the school that won the most of head to head in all the other sports (because we were in the same conference until the CUSA/SBC split)

I think a trophy with a bikini clad girl riding an inner tube trailing another inner tube with a cooler of beer would be the way to go. would appeal to kids of both schools.
