Question on rainbow tags
What is the meaning of the rainbow colored tags that are on some of the coaches wrists and on the players belt buckle area? I have been meaning to ask this for weeks. Anyone know?

Color coding for play calling/selection I'm sure.

When I saw them I thought 1st down 2nd down . 3rd and 4th down signals
