while being a MAC fan can be frustrating, you are at least cheering for teams and players that generally are ethical and more interested in hard work than cashing in off their talents as soon as possible.

It's still Louisville. As long as they get to play, even if not the play-offs, they'll get stars, probably even some share of the one and dones. "Fair number" might not be a devastating number.

Not referring to Louisville alone. I suspect a number of schools may have a shadow cast and recruits not eager to attend a school that may not see the NCAAs during their time may re-assess their options. I doubt all the shoes have dropped.

+1 since we don't seem to have all of the kids wearing the same shoes it probably won't drop here

Buffalo has gotten verbals from two 3-4 star recruits. Nothing yet for us, but then again we only have one spot available. Below is the link for Buffalo's verbalcommits page.

If you only have one scholarship to give, that means you have four coaches working on the same guys. Seems like a good situation to me. Think that all the emphasis was on the big kid from Wauseon now heading to Duquesne.

St. John's Vince Williams verbally committed to VCU. He had offers from Toledo and several other MAC schools.

Found it interesting that one of them is headed to Duquesne & the other had Duquesne with Toledo in their final 5. Akron's former coach certainly recruiting in our back yard, and probably was while he was at Akron. That may make future recruiting locally a bit more challenging while he's at an A-10 school, particularly if he has success getting to the NCAA tournament (which is more likely for an A-10 "at large" spot over a MAC "at large" selection).

While I know we need a taller player bummed Brandon Wade going there since his dad was a Rocket.

Got to take academics into the choice too. Kids might like a school better. Learning environment matters. So many factors into this.
