It's halftime now. After Harvey caused extensive damage to Houston's football stadium, the game was moved by mutual agreement to HRS. Rice came out on fire. Glaesman completed a nice wheel route on the first play from scrimmage, and the offense didn't look back. It was an efficient drive for a TD.

UH, on the other hand, looked nervous in its first game in Houston this season. They muffed an early kickoff. They threw a fluke INT on a deflection by Schantz that Schantz also picked off inside Houston's 15. UH moved the ball some, but Rice's defense was rallying to the ball and doing a great job covering receivers. And Rice busted a kick return for a TD on a trick pay to respond to a UH TD.

The score at halftime is Rice 24, Houston 10.
