0 - 0 late first half, score not really a surprise. Coach Legg's offense has scored 3 TD in 10 quarters. Season not looking as promising as the Miami game where Herd defense scored and special teams scored two TDs.

Well that's super. But I have to say that first half was completely uninspiring. First time this year I've actually seen The Herd play. Not very impressive.

This is the worst the defense has played all year, possibly because it's getting tired of trying to win the game with so little offensive production. The defense for the first two games was solid, the offense, well, it's coach Legg at his best.

Coach Legg play calling continues to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 3rd and 1 who doesn't know that will be a running play. This game is needlessly close and could turn in Kent St's favor at anytime.

The play calling isn't a surprise. It's been conservative for far too long. I'm very surprised at the lackluster offensive line play, however. Defensively, a lot of teams have problem with the option, but the pass defense doesn't look great either. All in all, I don't see much improvement from last year...but again, this is the first game I've been able to see.

Brady was able to dominate NC State on one-on-one coverage and the offense made things happened. NC State went zone coverage help, and shut Marshall down.

Brady will never see one-on-one coverage the rest of this year. Teams are going to force Marshall to beat them with the run. At present, we're struggling to do that against Kent.

CRAP!!!! Marshall punt returning SUCKS, Rodriguez should not be the returner.

Still not seeing Litton showing starting QB play, he's a JR. saying he's going to improve as the season goes on, NOT LIKELY!

Some interesting stuff by RB King that series. But agree, Litton looks lackluster AT BEST

At the moment, Rodriguez has 5 punt returns (a long of 20 yards) for a total of 0 return yards.

Marshall was a 14 point favorite at the kickoff, if the score holds, the Herd wins exactly by 14. I don't think the Vegas odds makers thought the score would be 14 - 0.

Litton did his job on that run. He seemed determined for the first time tonight, honestly. King MAY be the real deal.

So the long 20 yards is likely his only one that is for + yards. Net 0 yards is putting someone back there to take fair catch, not productivity expected from a starter.

Good play, should have done it with his arm a few plays earlier though.

4 minutes left, Kent turns it over on downs. Depending on if we can get a first down or two, we have a shot at our first FBS shutout since 2003.
