Anybody care? I think Mike Morgan will be worse than Charlie at BBall, but just couldn't stand the enthusiasm for the opposition going on a streak.

I thought Charlie Mac did an excellent job announcing basketball. I could easily picture the action in my head. I never really heard him do too much football because I was either at the game or they were on tv.

I agree Raptorcox, about Charlie Mac's enthusiasm for the opposing team during basketball games. Although I thought he painted a fine picture, I would rather have had one painted by a homer.

Mike Morgan will be good. I listned to a few of his women's broadcasts, and he did a good job.

Since I lived out of range for Women's bball broadcasts, I guess I will take your word for it. I am looking forward to a change, nevermind who is talking.

I'm just not a Charlie Mac fan and never will be. Anything is an improvement in my book, regardless of the sport.

STRONGLY disagree.

CMac was at his best calling basketball games. Listening to him call a BBall game I was never lost.

Morgans background is in basketball and their is no doubt what colors he wears.

I thought Charlie Mac was a fine announcer - outstanding at describing the action of whatever sport we are covering. He just wasn't quite partisan enough for many people's taste.

But Mike Morgan will do admirably in basketball because he's called basketball before - and ably. My expectations are somewhat lower of the man who will serve as Mike's football counterpart. 03-confused If ever there was a case of a man being handed a plum job solely because of who he was, this was it.
