I forget what the medical redshirt rule is. 20% of the season? I think he'd be right on the edge.

Didn't he already have a medical redshirt? In any case, if he tore that Achilles again, I'm not sure why he'd even want to play football even if he could.

2nd Achilles rupture surgerys are really messy and generally have a lot of complications (high percentage of infection due to low blood flow) ... I've done a ton of research... IMO it would be a mistake to come back

I've ruptured my Achilles, all the tests on the sidelines the trainers were doing were Achilles tests... Not cramps treatment. Cardon couldn't put any resistance when they did the foot test

I'm 99% certain it's ruptured, out for the year

That would be his 3rd major Achilles injury no?

How is the crowd holding up? 44-zilch at half against a meac team is not good for second half attendance.

44-7. Of 4 TDs given up, starting defense only 1.

I thought his first injury wasn't an Achilles injury, but I may be wrong. I know last years was a ruptured Achilles though

I would venture to guess he is out the rest of the year. T appeared as if he knew it when he was on the ground. Not a tell all but his body language and the way he directed the training staff was that of familiarity.

Scores are deceiving. Our penalties and turnover would potentially put us tied or slightly ahead vs good CAA play. We are also inconsistent in drives.

Admittedly I am pesimistic but we have gaps.

You don't say...

Even the most mentally prepared teams have trouble getting up for these games. I have confidence that we'll play harder in CAA games. I agree the penalties need to get cleaned up, but I'm not worried at all at this point.

Any pressure from the D today. I'd rather be pesimistic and be happily surprised then think we are kings of the world to only be shown how wrong. I haven't said anything inflammatory, only pointed out gaps.

Nice to see they finally fixed the game clock.
Sharp is definitely making the most of his opportunities.

Agreed. I'd like to see more of Marshall too. Nice to see ground game come around.

Mac Patrick was on the trainer's table not long after Cardon's injury. I don't believe he's played since.

Sad, the Madizone announcer has to speak for Bourne and scheduling.

We have an excuse for everything, nobody will play us, nobody will invite us....we made a own bed but we not worry, we will enthusiastically not consider future conference invites from conferences that do and don't exist.

Its not if, it is when.
