Am I the only one foolish enough to go?

Mrs Greyowl and I are boarding the plane for Houston as I type this.

I'll be there. Came back from Lake Minnewaska in time to make the game. Will be returning to Minnesota on the 29th, so I can be there for the "Big One", Minnewaska versus Morris. If you have not gotten tickets yet for that one - forget it. I'm sure it's already sold out. Tiki, I think the Lakers beat your Tigers by at least a couple touchdowns this year.

As for tonight, I'm not too confident. I am hearing that Houston is expected to set an attendance record, student-wise. I think there is going to be a lot of energy in the building, which will make things even more challenging for us. Houston 38 - Rice 7.

A fool and his money are soon parted. I'm gonna be a fool tonight. I'm interested to see what the new D looks like against an athletic team. Real shame that we don't have our opening day CB's ready to go.

Downtown is close by, so it should be easy to locate a place to drown my sorrows.

Tailgating with about 15-20 seniors/young alums. Some of us are going to the game, and some are not.

Should be a decent student contingent as Rally Club sold and gave away a bunch.

Excited, where is the tailgate?

Someone let me know if you can leave two tickets at Will Call. We'd love to go. Does anyone know how much it costs to park?

Hasn't been for a while--pretty sure The MOB has been at every UH game (home and away) since...at least '06.

Though things haven't always been pretty (though those are stories best told by the people who were there, and I've just heard them third-hand).

Missed. I did not want to cut short my trip to Austin and I could not have made it anyway. Spent Saturday afternoon getting the truck jumped and getting a new battery at Sears. I went to my Aggie sister's house that night and listened to her making nasty comments about the Longhorn football team even though she got a MSN from UT Austin but she is more interested in her A&M BS and University of Colorado PhD. I saw the Rice score on the ESPN phone app and went to bed early.
