Sports Illustrated has UAB projected for the New Orleans Bowl against La Monroe.

That would be awesome, but way too early for projections. That being said if they were to make that bowl game or anywhere besides Hawaii or Bahamas I'm there.

Big game this week. Get this one and you can see the possibilities. Cannot drop to 1-2 with the schedule we have.

Coastal Carolina also projected as a bowl team. Is this a quasi-elimination game?

Personally, I'm hoping for the Bahamas (or HI- but I'm not sure it's a C-USA game any longer). I could use a December beach trip.

I hope they're right, but I really felt we needed to win the Ball State game to go bowling.

Have you seen our CUSA opponents play this year? We will have a chance in every single one of them!

It's true that the C-USA teams are not playing well this year, but so far we have only beaten an FCS team and looked okay against a Ball State team who lost to Illinois. AAMU was a great first game back win, but I think the Ball State game says more about where our team is in terms of production.

I think we have a good chance to beat MTSU, La Tech, and Charlotte, and I think we can pull out one win against the rest of our C-USA slate. I guess I can see it. Need to win this weekend for sure.

That was the game I was worried about. We still have plenty of winnable games left.

I mean seriously if you cant beat charlotte, UTEP, UTSA and Rice you dont deserve to go bowling.

Charlotte and UTEP are both very winnable games because both teams are terrible. Hopefully we can find two more wins on our schedule.

I think we should beat UTEP, Charlotte, and Rice. We'll have to steal one in order to get the 6th win.

Need to split the next two to have a chance. MT UTSA and Florida should be losses. Charlotte Rice and UTEP should be wins. That leaves @UNT, LT and @USM to find one win. I think we'll be 5-6 going into the finale vs UTEP. If you gave me that right now I'd take it.

Did something happen to Stockstill at MTSU. He's not listed in the boxscore today.
