This is so cool. I wonder if SI printed versions with the other 5 RB's as well?

Go Rockets!

Why would they do that? No one wants to see those guys.

McCaffrey left off, that'll get noticed.

Found the Sunday pre-game show mentions a bit ... subdued? CH 11 would be the AFC, so thought they'd have something on the game but just a quick mention. Wonder if maybe not all were happy to see the king get a black eye? Hunt's and KC were mentioned but no focused attention.

It's only week 1 after all, but Hunt is 1st in the league in rushing yards, 1st in yards per carry (for players with more than 5 carries), tied for 1st in touchdowns and scoring, and 7th in the league in receiving yards.

Not a bad days work.

Hall of Fame stats if he retires today.

Isn't there a jinx associated with the SI Cover?

Next game is Phili at Arrowhead.

Phili had four sacks, gave up only 64 rushing and 200 passing (while not much better themselves). The four sacks maybe more telling than the rush D. Game at hime, media distractions from his first game performance....

With media and $ in the pocket, every game will be a different type of learning experience than college. We probably shouldn't hope for more than 150yds. :)

I'll have to relent and buy a copy of Sport Illustrated now.

Not bad but they left out how he got his super powers. Is he alien from a heavy gravity world with a red sun? Picked up a strange rock, has to say a magic word? Oh wait, gamma radiation?

In the reboot he'll be a white female stock broker. Bet.

That's what I call confidence.

So proud of this former rocket back, it can only help that other very good backs in HS will continue to pick UT as their college of choice.

Especially confidence that the ensuing kickoff and return would take less than two seconds. Color me skeptical.

??? Game doesn't end because clock hits zero, not sure the skepticism. And it's pee-wee. I don't think they use an atomic clock, though NE Ohio does take it's pee-wee football seriously, lol.

Besides, in ten years, it will only be one second and by HOF induction, he'll have hit 88mph and no controversy will exist over clock management.

Maybe they don't kick anymore in pee-wee (we did when I played, but then we used rocks for a ball and tortoise shells for helmets). Maybe they just place the ball, but if there are two seconds left and the receiving team fields a kick it's almost impossible to not take two seconds to return, at which point, yes, the game does end because the clock hit zero.

I think the coaches pretty much made up the rules as they went along in our pee-wee. Didn't get too serious until Jr High but, good story. Say it enough, it's fact.
