The trifecta. Incompetent BOT, Chancellor and Athletic Director.

I don't blame the Chancellor. He came into a bad situation when it was just a seedling. Ruff was already gone and Mo was already hired.

This mess became his when he extended Compher. If he had done not even the smart but the just sane thing and told Compher we'll talk extension after we see how the football season is going then no one would have any issue with him. However, his incompetent decision actually makes this even more his fault than Compher's, because we could go 0-12 and may not be able to afford to fire him.

Tulane had a situation like this, and the university had to get a new President before any positive athletics changes took place.
