Ehhh...Toledo's offense is by far the best you'll see all year. I'm not so sure that your defense would be able to hold them, and would be surprised if this wasn't just a complete shootout. It'll definitely be entertaining, that's for sure.
Yes i am sure mighty toledo is a much better offense than
Top 10 Oklahoma St.
Keep in mind that I was referring to the rest of your year...and as noted in the previous post, they were actually better statistically over the last 15 games.
Neither of those are true. I expect Memphis to be better than toledo. I expect Houston to be as good or better. Usf may be better.
Statistically speaking houston and memphis are better over the last 15.
Usf is close, like absurdly close.

We were last season...at least statistically.
No you weren't, lol people realize google exists and we are all on the internet?
Total offensive rank last year:
13) Tulsa
22) Oklahoma St
30) Toledo
But this isn't last year and OSU will be top 10 offense this year easily. Toledo, top 35.
That is wrong... Total offense? Toledo was 7th. http://stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div

Actually, no. I predicted FaU to win. Didn't say Navy couldn't win. Very different. I was wrong.
Your team however, has no chance to win. Sucks, I know.

Ok. We'll see. I don't think we are going to win. But it will be close. The fact that you are comparing playing Stanford and Toledo is funny though.
You may keep in close, but have zero chance at winning on the road. You'll be lucky to finish 6-6. Enjoy.

Google may have failed me, i put in ncaa 2016 offense stats
http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/2016/team/21
But again thats last years and every year is different in any college sport. I'm willing to bet OSU finishes higher this year, memphis too. I'm less confident about houston and usf but still think they will be ranked higher. Not doubting toledo's offense which i expect to be good and put up numbers on us. Our defense has been awful, they will take advantage.

He lets his emotions get in the way, confuses him. I'd also say that him getting the cherry picker of the year award earlier is getting under his skin.

Hate? For who or what? For Tulsa? I actually think Tulsa is cute. Always have rooted for them, as the consummate 'little guy.' I am just being realistic. It will be hard for them to have a winning record when the go 1-3 or 2-2 OOC. However, it is possible if they perform better in conference.

Still renting, but almost there. Will also be expanding the campus. Only getting better.
Best part is, we'll probably be second or third in the G5 for attendance, only behind BYU, and maybe ECU, but ECU cannot find a way to win a football game.

Look at the AAC OOC projections. I am actually doing quite well so far. We'll see come October.
You guys finally get serious about football and build and OCS stadium yet? Or are you still renters?

Still renting, but almost there. Will also be expanding the campus. Only getting better.
Best part is, we'll probably be second or third in the G5 for attendance, only behind BYU, and maybe ECU, but ECU cannot find a way to win a football game.
nice
I was sad when SDSU pulled out of the expansion of the Big East (due to Boise).
Eh, I was happy since the American had since lost Rutgers and Louisville, and I like regional conferences. That is how it should be.
Furthermore, relegating our basketball program to the Big West would have destroyed it, so it wasn't worth it (And I don't even care about basketball).
I would have supported joining the AAC if the dollars and cents made sense. Alas, it didn't then, and still doesn't to this point.

For your guys to have non football in the Big West the football $ and situation would have to be premium. IE, the AAC schools add you, BYU, Boise, all get $8-10mil/school and an auto bid to an NY6 bowl. That would do it, but I don't see that happening in all likelihood.
also I can see not wanting to join after losing UofL, but losing Rutgers? lol, that program is hot garbage. Losing them didn't hurt anybody in the AAC I can assure you.

I would skip over to this conference, call you all my brothers, and celebrate that day if it happened. $8-10 million would be spectacular as would some kind of "auto-bid."
A Western Division with BYU, Boise, SDSU, Houston, and SMU would be fun. However, no auto-bid is coming, and I expect the AAC to get about $3-4 million in their next TV contract. Thus, there is no benefit for BYU, Boise or SDSU to join this conference.
The MW is fine. We are all in the same boat until your scenario happens. I sure it hope it does though. I like the MW, but SDSU is getting to the point where we are a "program" and not just a handful of recruiting classes. We need to keep growing.

agree...if all the AAC gets is $3-4mil/team/year then yes, there is not point for you guys to join and it would be a bad move for you.
I don't see the $8-10 mil and auto bid either but yeah, if that happened, and you guys joined, it would be really fun. The only way that would happen though is you guys come to the table with Aresco and get the agreement "if we join, we want xyz" prior to you joining. It would be worth a shot at least. Worst case tv says 'no' and that's that. I'm sure everyone in our boat is exploring every avenue.
